Jamie Head (London)some_text

Having been an obsessive bedroom dj from the age of 15, clubbing and dance music took over his life as soon as he was legally allowed in clubs.

Having played at a few private house parties around London my big break came when Steve Pitron asked me to play at his birthday back in 2004 and Crash’s Rod Lay was there to hear me play. Rod was promoter of some of the biggest nights in London he booked me to play at one of his clubs and things snowballed from there. Within 5 months I’d played in Sydney, Auckland, Italy to name but a few.

Jamie went on to work at Gut/Gusto record Label where he worked along side and promoted such artists as Eric Prydz, Seamus Haji, Fedde Le Grand, David Guetta and The Freemasons to name but a few.

Jamie has made the leap from promoting these artists at the label and is now most often found djing alongside these acts.

Next stop is production. This year Jamie and thrown himself into the studio and his been honing his skills getting ready to unleash the fruits of these talents later in 2011.

Residencies : London clubs Lo-Profile Club, Beyond and Later. Space world tour bi monthly London parties. His latest residency is for WE – now one of Spain’s largest club brands, Jamie is resident for their new monthly London parties.

International gigs include Australia 7 times now including sets in Sydney, Perth and Melbourne . New Zealand 4 times to spin for their annual Hero event.

In 2010 Jamie played at the official San Francisco Pride with the legendary Frankie Knuckles and others. These are some of his highlights but he has also played in Italy, France and Amsterdam and Germany and Ibiza.
